Created by Paul and Finlay Maciocia

A revision app built at the kitchen table, then battle-tested by a real pupil.

GradeNinja began as a father-and-son project: Paul wanted Finlay to practise GCSE and KS3 content without it feeling like another worksheet, and Finlay wanted something that felt more like a game than a school portal.

Why we made it

Most revision tools are worthy but dry. They count questions, show a score, and hope a teenager comes back tomorrow. GradeNinja was built around a different idea: short daily practice, immediate feedback, visible progress, and enough battles, streaks and surprises to make opening the app feel normal.

What GradeNinja does

Who it is for

It is for pupils who need regular practice, parents who want something their child might actually use, and teachers who need lightweight revision support without another heavy platform to manage.

The app is still moving quickly because it is being built from real use, real bugs and real feedback, not a boardroom idea of what revision should feel like.
